Will make Punjab model state: AAP leader Manish Sisodia
Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi Manish Sisodia interacted with representatives of trade and industry at Amloh, industrial town of Mandi Gobindgarh and Fatehgarh Sahib today. He had come to listen to their problems so that the solutions could be included in the AAP’s manifesto.
He said Punjab would be developed as a model industrial and agricultural state by implementing the Delhi model. Wrong policies of successive governments had not only ruined the industry in the state, but had also forced their migration to other states, he stressed.
Earlier, traders and industrialists highlighted corruption, threats, raids, inspector raj and inadequate infrastructure and skilled labour among others with Sisodia. They demanded a single-window system and freedom from unnecessary interference of politicians.
“We will set up a skill university keeping in mind the current needs of the industry and end the outdated system. Similarly, a new education policy will be formed in consultation with educationists. We will also ensure cheaper 24-hour power supply to units,” said the Delhi Deputy CM. — OC
